Missionaries in Our Own Neighbourhood!

A shorter blog after yesterday’s longer contribution!

In Matthew 10 the Message describes Jesus as sending out the 12 Disciples, not as foreign missionaries but commissioning them to, “Go to the lost, confused people, right [there] in their neighbourhood.” (Matthew 10:5-8)

It’s a great reminder that God wants all believers to be involved foremostly in reaching out to their “neighbours” - their families, their friends, the people they work with, other parents in the school playground, neighbours in their urbanization, the people in the local café, etc…

Let’s be missionaries in our own neighbourhood.
